HANTEO MUSIC AWARDS 2025

The 33rd Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards will be held on February 15, 2026, at KSPO Dome, Olympic Park (Seoul, South Korea).

Evaluation Overview

1. Hanteo Global Score (40%)

The Hanteo Global Score reflects a comprehensive big data analysis conducted through Hanteo Chart and the Whosfan Big Data Lab.

It includes data from:

• Album sales

• Digital music sources

• Social media

• Portals

• Broadcasting & media

• End-user activity

Evaluation period:
January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025

Only albums, music releases, and artists active within this period are eligible.

2. Voting Score (30%)

Voting applies to the Main Prize (Hanteo Top 10) category only. There are no separate voting categories.

• Whosfan

• Fancast

• Mubeat

⚠️ Only vote in the Hanteo Top 10 category on each platform.

Voting Period

• 1st Round: January 16 – January 25

• 2nd (Final) Round: January 27 – February 7

• ​

Voting Weight Distribution

• 1st Round = 40%

• 2nd Round = 60%

​

Final Voting Score = (1st Round × 40%) + (2nd Round × 60%)

Platform Vote Normalization

Votes from all three platforms are normalized at a 1:1:1 ratio in the final calculation.

Important clarification:

• 1 vote on Fancast or Mubeat = 3 votes on Whosfan

• Therefore, 1 Whosfan vote carries three times the weight of a single vote on Fancast or Mubeat.

This adjustment ensures balanced platform contribution before final scoring is applied.

3. Judging Score (30%)

A panel of judges contributes 30% of the final result.

• Voting Score (30%)

• Judging Score (30%)
