We’ll explain the differences between account types, outline key dos and don’ts, and provide verified best practices to ensure your efforts count toward charting goals.

Guidelines for Effective Playlist Building

If you choose to make your own playlists instead of using one made by a fanbase, you need to be sure you set up the rotation so your streams do NOT get filtered out. The following guidelines are used to make sure that every stream counts.

DO NOT CREATE 24-HOUR PLAYLISTS; 2 to 4 hour playlists are ideal. When streaming, you can queue several shorter playlists. Avoid using "overnight" playlists that are 8-9 hours constantly, only use them when sleeping or unable to rotate playlists every few hours due to school or work obligations.
During comeback, be sure your playlists are title track-focused; if remixes are released be sure the playlists you use have been updated with them.
Do NOT loop the same song in a playlist; or put the same song back to back.
Avoid repetitive patterns.
Use 2-3 songs as fillers in between the focus track, preferably most of them Stray Kids songs; either b-sides, older songs headed towards milestones or a member’s OST or collab.
Use a NON KPOP filler randomly every 12-14 songs, generally, 1 non Kpop filler every hour of the playlist is suggested.
Make sure your playlist is not overly repetitive or structured, avoid patterns in your rotation of songs,
Do NOT use the same fillers in every playlist; try to keep your fillers to shorter songs. The point is to get to the next SKZ song quickly without looking like a bot, so avoid using 4 to 5 minute songs.
Avoid using songs that are competing on current charts as fillers.
Be sure to update your playlists at least every 2 weeks, switch out some of the Stray Kids b-sides use songs close to milestones and other fillers, this helps keep your streaming history varied.

Guidelines for Effective Streaming

Use premium accounts for charting and to reduce risk of filtering.
Turn OFF AUTOPLAY
Listen to the FULL newly released song or album before starting on your focused playlists.
Like each song and the album.
Do NOT mute Amazon Music, instead mute your device, use sound controls on your PC and for tablets or mobile devices use headphones.
Do NOT loop songs or playlists.
Do NOT play the same song back to back.
If you can please avoid using a VPN or APK pack while streaming.
Do NOT shuffle the playlist: Shuffling could lead to the focus songs being played back-to-back, which may result in unfiltered streams.
If you stream offline, remember to log into your Amazon Music account once back online within 30 days or your streams are not counted.
If you can not actively switch playlists every few hours when sleeping or passively streaming then queue 3-4 shorter playlists instead of a single 8-9 hour playlist.
When using multiple accounts on the same IP address:
- Up to 6 accounts should be safe (consistent with the family plan limit).
- Do NOT stream the same playlist on all accounts at once, as this does not mimic typical family use.
When the playlist is over, do NOT loop or replay the same playlist. Select a different one instead. Aim to use each playlist only once a day and switch between a variety from fanbases.
Engage with Amazon Music frequently; like a song, add one to your library or random playlist, search for something, share a link to social media, skip a filler song, etc.
Take breaks from streaming; allow your accounts to ‘rest’ this is seen as normal behavior and helps authenticate your behavior on the platform, no one listens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is why we suggest having more than one account to rotate them.
Share links for songs and albums to social media; click on song link from social media.
In between playlists look for a Amazon Music Curated PL that has SKZ and play the song through the playlist.
