The Difference between youtube & youtube music
the most inportaNt thing to know is that the Official Tracks on YouTube Music COUNT TOWARDS BILLBOARD the exact same way they do on spotify or apple music, so Use them as fillers while streaming! if you have a youtube premium account you get access to all youtube music features for free!
- YouTube: YouTube is a video-sharing platform where users can upload, view, and share videos. It hosts a wide variety of content, including music videos, vlogs, tutorials, documentaries, and more. YouTube hosts a vast library of user-generated content, including music videos, covers, and live performances. It features a wide range of content beyond music. YouTube's recommendation algorithm suggests a wide range of content, not limited to music. It takes into account your viewing history and engagement with various types of videos. The YouTube app and website are designed for a broader range of content, including videos and live streams.
- YouTube Music: YouTube Music is a music streaming service designed primarily for listening to music, just like Spotify. While it also includes music videos, its primary focus is on providing access to audio tracks and music-related content. YouTube Music's library primarily consists of music tracks, albums, and playlists. It is more music-centric and aims to compete with other music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. The recommendation system in YouTube Music is tailored specifically for music. It suggests music tracks, playlists, and artists based on your listening habits. The YouTube Music app and website are designed with a focus on music discovery and playback, making it easier to navigate and find music-related content.
3 YOUTUBE STREAMING METHODS
We use and promote 3 streaming methods for YouTube and encourage all STAYs to utilize all 3 especially during Comeback to ensure every stream counts!
Manual or focus streaming
MANUAL or FOCUS STREAMING is a method that emulates what a person does when they want to consume content but in a more controlled manner so that the content consumed is specifically designed to increase Stray Kids Views. For example when a human is on YouTube consuming content or watching videos they naturally go to YouTube login, search for a specific video by typing in the search bar what you are looking for and click on the video, watch it, as humans we interact with the platform we are consuming content on by Liking it, commenting, interacting with other comments & sharing the link directly to social media. Humans bounce around while watching content they will click on a recommended video after finishing one, search for a new one, watch something from one of their playlists they have saved or in their watch later. As chaotic as humans are there is a baseline for determining human behavior and all the things listed above are the baseline so doing this while focus streaming ensures YouTube sees you as human and your views are counted. Going back every 4-5 videos is natural for a human because when we find content we enjoy we 'consume it' or indulge in it.
Playlist streaming
PLAYLIST STREAMING; is a more laid back approach to streaming. Using a playlist allows STAY to participate in streaming for Stray Kids while at work or school or just on your average everyday busy life schedule. Setting up a playlist even a short one, making sure to organize the playlist properly; adds to Stray Kids views helping to allow busy STAYs the luxury of contributing to comeback but not sacrificing things in their life at the same time to do so. The one down side is that Playlist streaming is passive so you are not interacting with the platform consistently proving you are human so some views are at risk for be filtered out.

GUIDELINES FOR ALL STREAMING METHODS
IP ADDRESS & MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
✔ ALWAYS TRY TO USE A PREMIUM ACCOUNT IF YOU CAN
✔ When streaming using multiple devices YouTube counts only ONE stream per IP address, meaning that if you stream the same video on multiple devices at the same time it will still count as ONE stream. If you are using you phone use your data instead of your home internet and use your Wi-Fi for you PC or Smart TV. Make sure you are using proper rotations. ALWAYS TRY TO USE A PREMIUM ACCOUNT IF YOU CAN
✔ Use multiple accounts to stream, just not at the same time on the same IP address. Be sure you are not just logging in watching the Focus video and logging out and into a different account and immediately watch the same video again. When cycling through YouTube accounts watch 2-3 fillers, Interact, then log off and log into another account making sure you are not behaving like a bot.
📝 I have seen STAYs bring the point up that people who live in the same house, or groups of people in a public place like students at school or a large gathering place would have users on the same IP address and they could be watched similar content so we can stream multiple devices on the same IP address and it's fine right? YES & NO, YouTube has safeguards in place to determine if the views coming from the same IP address are organic or not which is why it is suggested to rotate accounts, rotate the order in which you watch content, don't use the same Playlists on all accounts at the same time, switch up your filler videos etc. All of these things are organic when consuming content and so is watching the same video frequently just not in a way that indicates manipulation of views like looping.

INTERACTING
✔ Like, Comment, interact with other comments and share the MV using the share button and link directly on YouTube to other SNS Platforms! By interacting with the video this way you are engaging YT's metrics for that video which helps the video to trend allowing it to be recommended to others and boosting it's popularity and reach on the platform.
YouTube does not filter out streams because you use emojis in the comments, emojis are now see as human behavior and classified as a language used in online communication because we use them in everyday context to communicate.
But if every time someone uses an emoji in a unique human way and the same account comments on all of them "please do not use emojis" without any variations, which is more likely to be seen as spam or BOT behavior?

SETTINGS
✔ TURN OFF AUTO PLAY
✔ Quality at least 480p ✔ Volume at least 50% - if you need to "MUTE" do NOT mute YouTube or the tab in the browser it's playing on, instead open your sound settings on your PC and turn the application's volume all the way down. YouTube's access regarding what you are doing on your personal computer STOPS at their platform so they can see when you mute it directly but they can not detect what you are doing outside of that. 📝 You can see from the example of a STAY's Volume Mixer they are streaming on Spotify & using their Google Chrome Brower at the same time. This user has the volume settings adjusted so that each application has the required sound setting for streaming but they can only hear their browser while Manually Focus Streaming on YouTube.

STREAMING ROTATION
A STREAMING ROTATION is the order in which you watch content to ensure your viewing history is organic and does not emulate bot behavior which is illegal boosting of views or fake engagement.
✔After streaming the FOCUS SONG, watch 3-4 videos before returning to the focus song, don’t watch videos from the same channel continuously switch it up a bit.
📌 TIP FOR YOUTUBE STREAMING
Stray Kids Official Music Videos & various content are posted to 3 separate channels on YouTube.
1. Stray Kids' Official Music Videos, Trailers, Teasers, UNVEILS & Album Intros are always posted to JYP Entertainment's Official Channel.
2. Stray Kids' Official B-side Music Videos, SKZ Records & Players, Performance Videos, Dance Practices & agency produced content like SKZ-Code are posted to Stray Kids Official YouTube Channel.
3. All content from their Japanese releases are posted to Stray Kids Japan Official YouTube Channel.

You can watch the Title Track Music Video on JYPE's Channel then watch Stray Kids' channel to stream 1-2 B-sides or use their JP Channel content, stages, collabs and other various performances as "fillers" from a plethora of channels while streaming, continuing to boost a variety of their content without worrying about streaming too much SKZ content on a single channel, too many times in a row and be flagged as "Bot-Like Behavior" and your views be filtered out.
It is still recommended to use a NON-SKZ Filler periodically while streaming. |
🧾 Example of a YouTube Streaming Rotation - you would use similar rotations when using any of the streaming methods.
✘ DO NOT USE THE SAME VIDEOS IN BETWEEN THE FOCUS TRACK IN THE SAME EXACT ORDER.
You can of course watch the same videos again just make sure it's not within 15-30 minutes worth of video content of the last time you watched it and make sure you are not using the same fillers in the same sequence.
The fanbases update STAY frequently if any of Stray Kids other Music Videos or performances are close to a milestone so we can add them into our rotations while streaming.
✳ This is just an example STAYs of course are free to choose the fillers they would like to enjoy along with Stray Kids latest releases while streaming, just remember to follow the guidelines and make sure their are 3-4 videos (approx total 20 mins) in between going back to the Focus video.
- Stray Kids Focus MV - JYPE YT Channel ☆
- Stray Kids B-Side Music Video - Stray Kids Official YT Channel
- Stray Kids Record/Player - Stray Kids Official YT Channel
- Stray Kids Music Video - Stray Kids JAPAN Official YT Channel
- Stray Kids Collaboration, Stage, Fancam, etc - Various YT Channels
- Stray Kids Focus MV - JYPE YT Channel ☆
- Stray Kids B-Side Music Video - Stray Kids Official YT Channel
- Stray Kids B-Side Music Video - Stray Kids JAPAN Official YT Channel
- NON-SKZ FILLER - must be at least 1-2 mins long, do not use YouTube Shorts as fillers.
- Stray Kids older Title Track Music Video - JYPE YT Channel
- Switch to another YouTube account & REPEAT FROM THE TOP USING DIFFERENT FILLERS

✘✘THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT DO WHILE STREAMING ✘✘
✘ Adjust the speed of the playback
✘ Skip ahead or go back - just let the video play.
✘ No looping or Replaying immediate after watching.
✘ Do NOT use a VPN while Streaming!
✘ Do NOT watch reuploads of Stray Kids Content during active promotions - Translation videos are fine but fans will upload the entire MV right after release in an attempt to gain views and followers who think they are watching on an official channel, when they do this they take away what we are working to give Stray Kids.
✘ Do NOT spam the comments. PLEASE AVOID USING TEMPLATES IN THE COMMENTS AKA COPYING AND PASTING A SAYING THAT'S BEEN POSTED DOZENS OF TIMES ALREADY - it does not look like human behavior if 100 accounts are commenting the same thing over and over again! If you want to use a template add something unique with it. Use Positive words that are unique and engaging. Some market research has suggested that using positive key words can help prove human engagement.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Its been proven that emoji's are considered human behavior and do not effect the views, neither does using the word 'stream' in the comments or posting links but the same account posting the same comment over and over again will cause YOUR account to be effected. When Bots are in the comments spamming links ignore them, YouTube sees it and will just count their view as inorganic it doesn't effect YOUR VIEW. You can report the account posting the spam to help YouTube catch them quickly and deactivate them but your HUMAN behavior on the video should be the priority. So do NOT comment over and over again to "please don't use emojis" it will effect weather or not YOUR views are being counted!
