Artists who perform on INKIGAYO are immediately eligible for the Hot Stage Award, which is awarded to the winner during the next Live Broadcast. Voting for HOT STAGE begins immediately after each week's Broadcast ends via the SuperstarX App.

RULES:
- Up to 2 songs per artist album will be counted.
- OST songs are excluded from the ranking tally.
- Sound sources in broadcast programs (ex. audition, entertainment programs, etc.) are excluded.
- Songs judged ineligible for review by SBS will be excluded from the ranking.
- Songs that have been ranked #1 for 3 weeks in a row will be inducted into the Hall of Fame of the popular song chart. It will be excluded from future charts.
