To stream or download a song, you are required to get an account and a streaming and/or DL pass. There are 2 types of Genie Accounts you can purchase; UNVerified which is an account that does not have a Korean phone number linked to it or Verified which does have a Korean phone number linked to it, Streaming works on both verified & unverified accounts, however to purchase a pass you require a Korean phone number/Korean bank details.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ UNVerified Accounts can NOT download Songs but they can still stream & activate a streaming pass via android devices! Admins tested this alongside STAY Voting Zone on May 22nd, 2023 to confirm streams do count as well ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗
Which is one of the reasons we use trusted "shops" use their phone numbers to "load" our K-streaming accounts with the needed funds and/or passes that we use during Comeback.
